Join your colleagues in the new free online community, NBCTLink, designed exclusively for National Board Certified Teachers (NBCTs). The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) recently launched the new password-protected community to provide you and your fellow NBCTs the opportunity to:

  • Connect with fellow NBCTs through discussion boards and chat features.
  • Create your own personal profile-with photos and information about your teaching interests.
  • Organize a group of NBCTs who share your interests or join an existing group.
  • Share best teaching practices and ways to enhance student learning.
  • Share the opportunities and challenges of teacher leadership.
  • Collaborate with your colleagues to support new National Board Certification candidates.
  • Learn about renewing your National Board Certification.
  • Find your official local NBCT network.
  • Keep current with what's happening at NBPTS.
  • Keep current with important education issues.
  • Advocate for issues relevant to accomplished teachers.

Signing up is easy-and free. To access NBCTLink, visit http://www.nbctlink.org. Enter your e-mail address as it appears in My Profile and click on "Forgot Password." A password will be sent to your e-mail address shortly.

If you changed your e-mail address, or can't remember the one you used when you became an NBCT, please visit My Profile (https://nbpts4.ets.org/nbpts/) and update your e-mail information. When you return to NBCTLink, you may use your new e-mail address as your username and click "Forgot Password." A password will be sent to your new address.

The username and password provided will log you into NBCTLink. You will be prompted to change your password when you log in. Please change it to something only you will remember.

Once you've logged in, take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with your personal homepage and some of the resources available on NBCTLink. We suggest you start by reading the "Frequently Asked Questions" in the NBPTS Headlines section and then updating your user profile. You may also want to join the "New to NBCTLink Group," which offers guides to NBCTLink resources and features.

If you have any questions or require assistance, please contact NBCTLink@nbpts.org.
